Rules And Terms

At Maa Bharti College, Tonk, all students are expected to follow the rules and terms laid down by the institution to ensure a disciplined and supportive academic environment.

General Discipline
  • All students must maintain high standards of discipline, punctuality, and behavior both inside and outside college premises.
  • Students should not engage in any kind of misconduct such as defiance of authority, use of abusive or obscene language, or causing disturbance in classrooms, library, labs, corridors, or any college venue.
Attendance & Absence
  • Regular attendance is mandatory. In the event of absence, prior permission should be sought from the concerned authority. In case of illness, a medical certificate and parental/guardian consent may be required.
  • Prolonged absence or missing many classes without leave may lead to cancellation of admission or being debarred from appearing in exams.
Identity Card / Uniform / Dress Code
  • Students must carry their College Identity Card at all times on campus and present it when asked by college staff. Loss of the ID card must be reported immediately and replaced, possibly with a fee.
  • Dress code (if applicable) should be adhered to. If there is a uniform, students must wear the prescribed uniform during class and exams.
Examinations & Assessments
  • Students must follow University / MDSU rules related to examinations. These include dates, exam format, eligibility, syllabus coverage, etc.
  • Use of unfair means / cheating / plagiarism in exams, assignments, or any academic work is strictly prohibited. Violations will attract disciplinary action.
  • Students may be required to complete assignments, practicals, projects in accordance with deadlines to be eligible for continuous assessment marks.
Campus Conduct & Infrastructure Usage
  • Respect for college property: DO NOT damage or deface furniture, walls, windows, books, labs, etc. Any damage must be reported; cost of repair/replacement may be charged to the responsible student(s).
  • Maintain silence in certain areas like the library, reading rooms, labs when required. Avoid loitering, loud talking or creating nuisance in corridors or classrooms.
  • Mobile phones usage may be restricted in classrooms, labs, examinations or other specified areas; students should follow the rules set by the college.
Ragging & Harassment
  • Ragging in any form—physical, verbal, online, etc.—is strictly prohibited. This rule applies both inside and outside the college.
  • Any student found guilty of ragging will face disciplinary action, which may include expulsion, reporting to authorities, etc., as per law and MDSU / Supreme Court directives.

Fee Payment & Refunds
  • Fees (tuition, lab, library, etc.) must be paid on time as per schedule announced by the college. Late payment may attract fines or denial of services (attendance, exam forms etc.).
  • Fees once paid are generally not refundable unless explicitly stated (for example in the case of a recognized withdrawal or cancellation process).
